Roy Bryhn, CR, Founder & President
Roy Bryhn, Founder and President of Bryhn Construction, grew up in the construction industry, beginning as a laborer in his father’s construction business. He was born and raised in Norway, his mother an artist, his father a production contractor. At an early age, Roy enjoyed discussing the remodeling possibilities of his own family home with his mother. Those conversations inspired him to become interested in analyzing and assessing houses and buildings for aesthetics, flow, proportions, and practical layouts…along with quality, construction methods and the performance of materials over time.
As a part of his father’s construction company, where the pace was that of a competitive sport, Roy learned how crucial quality drawings and specifications are in order to keep a project on schedule and on budget.
From his parents, Roy inherited creativity and efficiency, as well as an ironclad work ethic and a tad of perfectionism. His parents, and his early experiences upon moving to America, shaped his thinking and remain the core values of Bryhn Construction.
Roy’s primary role is that of designer. He prides himself on his ability to listen, see the big picture and find creative ways to meet client needs, which has earned him the designation of Certified Remodeler, as well as the respect and appreciation of all who have worked with him over the years.
